Mind Wellbeing Schools nurture cultivate agile minds and compassionate hearts, creating spaces for emotional understanding, authentic connection, and open communication where every child can flourish.

In the UK, we’re facing a growing mental health crisis, and prevention must be at the heart of creating real change. At Mind Wellbeing, we prioritise early, proactive support through The WOW Programme for children aged 3–7, and Mind Wellbeing Communities for parents and teachers, empowering adults with the education in wellbeing that most of us never received at school.

Mind Wellbeing Schools

Mind Wellbeing Schools place mind wellbeing at the very forefront of education, valuing it as deeply as literacy, numeracy, and the creative arts.

We begin not with “mental health awareness,” but with the belief that wellbeing is a daily practice, lived, experienced, and woven into every part of school life, because every mind is full of magic.

When we focus on mind wellbeing, we nurture a culture of possibility, where minds grow with agility, curiosity, and joy.

This approach sees children not as problems to be solved, but as whole, evolving humans with unique inner worlds.

A Mind Wellbeing School is more than a place where children learn, it’s a living culture, supported by an online platform that connects educators, families, and communities in shared learning and daily practice.

Five Pillars of Mind Wellbeing Schools

  • Prevention sits at the heart of Mind Wellbeing. By embedding The WOW Project, alongside Mind Wellbeing Communities from the earliest years, we nurture skills for life and reduce the need for crisis-driven reactions.  When mind wellbeing becomes part of everyday life, schools grow into communities of trust, connection, and belonging.

  • Words are POWERFUL, they shape our worlds. Through stories and guided activities, children learn to express themselves with kindness, empathy, and clarity, developing language that strengthens relationships and positive behaviour.

  • Through story, movement, and sensory exploration, children learn to listen to their bodies, understand their emotions, and nurture positive self-belief. This supports regulation, inclusion, and emotional agility across all learners.

  • Mind Wellbeing Schools connect school and home through shared language, stories, and simple wellbeing practices, tying the WOW Project to Mind Wellbeing Communities. Educators, parents and their children grow together, supporting children with consistent messages and emotional understanding in every environment.

  • Emotional agility is cultivated not only in pupils, but across the whole community. Staff gain confidence, shared vocabulary, and strategies to model regulation and wellbeing, creating flexible, connected learning cultures that flourish.

Project WOW

The WOW Programme (World of Wonderfill) is a story-led, character-based approach to Mind Wellbeing education that helps children recognise, understand, and express their emotions in positive and empowering ways.

Blending emotional agility, the power of language, and the nurturing of self-belief, it’s a pioneering self-development journey for children aged 3–7.
Through the magical World of Wonderfill stories, featuring Wonderfill, Mindfull Marvel, Imogen, Crabbie, and friends children discover how their words shape their mindset, relationships, and sense of possibility.

Each story explores a different emotion and is supported by ready-to-use lesson plans, activities, and language tools that bring emotional agility to life in everyday learning.

Fully aligned with the PSHE Association Programme of Study, the EYFS statutory framework, and SEND best practice, the WOW Programme adapts to every learning environment, making wellbeing education part of the story of school life.

WOW Co-Creators

United by purpose. Two educators. Two dreamers.
One shared vision, to reimagine how children understand their minds, bodies, and emotions.
Together, we’re building a movement of mind wellbeing, filled with curiosity, compassion, and wonder.

Meet Hannah

Hi, I’m Hannah, Founder of Mind Wellbeing and Co-Creator of The World of Wonderfill.  The idea for WOW grew from reflecting on my own childhood and school experiences, and realising what was missing. Children deserve simple, joyful ways to understand their bodies, name their emotions, feel safe in who they are, and keep growing every day.

At WOW, we believe wellbeing should be an experience from the age of three, not a skill set to learn or a task to tick off. Working alongside Chloë and expanding The World of Wonderfill has been an incredible journey, and we’re so proud of what WOW has become.

Language changes lives, and WOW brings that belief to life in classrooms and homes, in practical, playful, and meaningful ways.

Meet Chloë

Hi, I’m Chloë, former primary teacher, Founder of Mind Station Coaching, Director of Mind Wellbeing, and Co-Creator of The World of Wonderfill.

After three years in the classroom, I left feeling frustrated by how little attention was given to children’s emotional worlds. During lockdown, I founded Mind Station Coaching to help children understand their unique brains, manage big emotions, and celebrate neurodiversity.

Along the way, I discovered my own neurodivergence, and with it, a deeper purpose: to bring this work into schools, making emotional learning a part of everyday education.

Then I met Hannah, and everything clicked. Together, we merged her imaginative Wonderfill world with my Brain Team concept to create WOW, a science-backed, heart-led programme designed to make emotional education engaging, inclusive, and life-changing

The WOW Cycle

Welcome to Wonderfill
(Emotional Awareness)

Children are welcomed into the magical World of Wonderfill through a story that helps them notice the link between emotions and body sensations. They begin to understand that the feelings inside them are messages — clues to what they need and how they can care for themselves and others.

Building Beliefs with Wonderfill
(Emotional Intelligence)

Children explore how positive thoughts and affirmations can nurture self-belief. Through creativity and reflective play, they practise kind self-talk, deepening emotional intelligence and growing confidence in who they are.

Wonderfill’s World of Emotions (Emotional Attunement)

Children explore emotions as energy in motion, noticing how feelings can feel full, light, heavy, or empty. Through playful stories and reflection, they learn to name and share emotions with curiosity and compassion, building empathy and understanding.

The Wonder of Our Words
(Emotional Intelligence)

Wonderfill helps children see that words carry power — shaping how we feel, connect, and see ourselves. They learn to choose kind and compassionate language through role play and storytelling, strengthening empathy and communication.

Waves of Wonder
(Emotional Regulation)

Guided by Mindful Marvel, children discover that emotions rise and fall like waves. Using the Pause – Ride The Wave – Wonder method, they learn to move through big feelings with calmness and confidence, supported by movement, breathwork, and mindful play.

The World of Connection
(Emotional Agility)

Children bring together everything they’ve learned — awareness, attunement, regulation, belief, and language — to deepen their sense of belonging. They discover that connection with themselves and others is at the heart of mind wellbeing and everyday joy.

Every journey around the WOW Cycle is a step across the the bridge to self trust…

The Bridge to Self-Trust

Wonderfill’s Bridge to Self-Trust helps children understand and manage their emotions step by step. As they learn to notice, name, and navigate their emotions, they build confidence in themselves and trust their own choices. This journey teaches that emotions aren’t scary, they’re messages we can listen to and learn from. Through stories, reflection, and connection, children discover “I can count on me,” growing kindness, confidence, and emotional strength along the way.

The Wider WOW Team

The WOW programme was never created by one person, it grew through the hearts, minds, and hands of many.

Teachers, psychologists, artists, parents, and children have all helped shape what WOW has become: a living, breathing learning experience that brings mind wellbeing to life through story, play, and reflection.

At the centre of it all is a shared belief — that wellbeing grows through connection: with ourselves, with each other, and with the wonder of the world around us.

Join our movement,
let’s flip the script and drop the stigma

At Mind Wellbeing we believe that a healthy mind is one that does well at just being.
